O-line key to running game

Football fans never fail to notice the guys who have the ball.  They always see the player who runs 80 yards for the touchdown, throws the ball 70 yards in the air for a score, or catches a fourth-down pass in the end zone for the winning points.

And they yell like crazy for the DB who saves a score with a goal line interception, or the defensive tackle who sacks the quarterback with the game on the line.

Then there’s the offensive line.  Those are the big guys down in front who open the holes for the running backs, keep those onrushing defensive linemen away from their quarterback, and generally just wage war in the trenches to try to help their team win the game.
