The Point Isabel Independent School District School Board held a budget workshop Thursday.
The board announced that property values in the school district decreased $10 million based on five estimates of the property by private consulting firms.
As a result, $1,237,774 has been set aside for various commitments such as repairs for the elementary school doors and other regular maintenance of the school buildings.
