The Mighty Tarpons Marching Band received Division One ratings at the 2011 University Interscholastic League (UIL) Pigskin Jubilee at Bobby Morrow Stadium in San Benito on Saturday, Oct. 15.

According to Tarpon Band Director Scott Hartsfield, Port Isabel was the first 3A band to march and “set the standard” for the bands to follow. They also received outstanding reviews from the three judges on the panel.

Bands competed from Donna to Brownsville.
