Point Isabel Independent School District (PI-ISD) announced the upcoming Voter Approval Tax Ratification Election (VATRE) scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. The VATRE aims to secure additional funding of approximately $3.6 million, which will be allocated to crucial initiatives including employee raises and addressing escalating insurance costs for the 2023-2024 school year.
The VATRE proposal underscores PI-ISD’s commitment to prioritizing its staff and ensuring the highest standards of education. With the anticipated approval of the VATRE, all PI-ISD employees are set to benefit from well- deserved pay raises for the upcoming academic year.
